Integrity Diagnostics, through the Integrity Diagnostics Training Institute, is committed to training the highest quality practitioners in the field of Electrodiagnostic and Neuromusculoskeletal Ultrasound Testing.

Electrodiagnostic testing (EMG & NCS) is the gold standard for assessment and quantification of conditions affecting the neuromuscular system. We provide high level instruction by experienced providers to those who wish to:

  • Learn and master the skills and knowledge needed to perform electrodiagnostic testing and interpret the findings.
  • To further the skill set and knowledge of those who currently are performing electrodiagnostic testing and advance their skills and knowledge.

Training in electrodiagnostic testing is available in a variety of formats and tailored to the needs of the trainee or facility. We use both didactic, in-person and online, and in-person didactic laboratory sessions in which trainees interact with our senior faculty. All senior faculty are board certified in Clinical Electrophysiology and have performed thousands of EDX examination. This ensures they learn from the most experienced practitioners in the field. Those enrolling in the training program will be required to have access to current EDX testing equipment and supplies.

Traditional electrodiagnostic training pathways for physical therapists, physicians and other qualified professionals include:

  • Basic, Intermediate and Advanced training modules. These are the foundational building blocks. These individual courses are presented in a hybrid format and include pre-course online didactic modules, in-person didactic and laboratory sessions and post-course didactic and assessment modules. Advancement from one module to the next requires mastery of all materials, both didactic and laboratory, and is assessed utilizing both written and laboratory practical examinations.
  • During the basic module who desire to have mentoring and report reviews will be assigned a mentor. This mentor will be responsible for the advancement and training of their mentees. This is not required but is strongly suggested as there is a definite correlation with trainee competence and advancement when a mentor is involved.
  • Report review. Integrity Diagnostics offers individualized report and case reviews. We provide individual feedback for each case and phone consultations.
  • ECS Board Certification preparatory course. This course is offered yearly in January, prior to the board certification testing window in February and March. This 3 day course is taught by two senior faculty, both of which have been practicing over 20 years, have thousands of completed cases and have taught this course for over 20 years together. This course is designed to expose weaknesses in a trainee's knowledge base, reinforce existing knowledge and prepare those attending to take the ABPTS board certification examination in Clinical Electrophysiology.
